Coffee Making & Pot Cleaning Instructions
Making Coffee:
Fill the pot with cold water to the 60 cup line (for 60 cups) on the inside of the pot.
Place the tall stem into the well at the bottom of the pot and put basket on the stem
The
open coffee is stored in the refrigerator in canisters. If you need
more, it is in the closet at the back of Fellowship Hall (where the
tables are stored) on the shelves to the right.
Place the proper amount of coffee in the basket using the following chart:
100 Cups - 6 1/4 cups
80 Cups - 5 cups
60 cups - 4 cups
40 cups - 2 1/2 cups
Do not make less than 40 cups
Cleaning:
Wash
basket, stem, and cover in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry. Clean the
pot using about 1/3 pot of warm water and clean with dish cloth. The
well where the stem fits in the bottom needs to be cleaned using a
Sctch-brite and the cleaning tool found in the drawer below the coffee
pot. The stem can be cleaned inside by using the long brush found in
the same drawer. The outside of the pot can be cleaned by just wiping
down with a cloth.
