Worship Schedule
9:00 am, 11:00am Service

Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. For
168 years this congregation has been sharing the Gospel of Christ
with our community and world. We encourage you to join us
downstairs for a time of fellowship and refreshment following
worship. If you do not have a church home, we invite you to
worship with us regularly. Please sign our friendship
register this morning. Also, if you know of anyone in need of
pastoral care, please make our Pastors aware of that
need. First time visitors . . . please accept our
special gift in the narthex at the end of our service.
Worship Announcements - Starting 20
minutes before each service, announcement slides will be projected
on the front wall of the sanctuary. If you have something you
would like to see included in those slides, please get the
information to Karrie or Amanda by the preceding Wednesday.

Turkey Dinner - will be served on Sat., Nov. 15th. There
will be two sittings, 5:00 and 6:30pm. Tickets are available
Sunday mornings after worship or weekdays through the church office.
Coffee Hour Teams - What team
are you on? Congregational Life committee would like you on one
of their teams that prepare coffee hour. This new program is
designed to limit your commitment. Each team member will prepare
coffee hour once or twice a year.
Club 45 - (for 4th and 5th graders) will meet Nov. 16th and Dec.
7th from 12:30pm til 2:20pm in the library. Please join us for fun and
good fellowship.
Book Binders - Nov. 11th at Barb Swihart's home, 14541 Blue Heron, at 7:17 PM. We will be discussing the book Some Kind of Different As Me
by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. Pat Warren is co-hostess and has
devotions. Join us! Any questions, please call Barb at
750-8215. Anyone is welcome.
AGAPE - Please join us for a new season. The morning group
will meet again on Thurs,, Nov. 6th and Dec. 4th at 9:15am-11:15am in
the drama room. We will read the book Breaking the Good Mom Myth
by Alyson Schafer. The evening group will meet Thurs., Oct. 23rd,
Nov. 20th and Dec. 18th from 7-9 pm in the youth room. We will
read The Five Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell. Anyone is welcome to attend and child care will be provided.
SCRIP Orders - Turn in your Scrip order to the church office or
at the Scrip table following worship or order online and print out the
order form and then turn it in with the amount due.

*NEW* Church Housekeeping Crew - will meet the 4th Wednesday of each month at 9am here at the church to help keep the dust and grime under control. Due to the holidays, the crew will be meeting Nov. 19th and Dec. 17th. This crew can never be too large; there is enough work for everyone. Be proud and help your church shine.
Men's Breakfast and Workday - The 1st Wednesday
of each month meet at the church at 8am for a breakfast and stay to
help out around our building! All skill levels needed, we meet again on
December 3rd. Please see Gary Young for more information.
Thanksgiving Eve Service
The Fenton Area Clergy will again sponsor an
ecumenical communty worship service on Thanksgiving Eve, Wed., Nov.
26th. This service will feature musicians and choristers from
area churches and will be held at St. John Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m.
G.R.A.C.E Thanksgiving Baskets - we are collecting food items for Grace's
Thanksgiving Baskets to be packed on Nov. 25th. Items needed are
non-perishables suitable for a Thanksgiving meal such as dressing,
canned vegetables, canned fruit, jell-o, gravy, boxed desserts, juice
or soda. Also, monetary donations are needed for perishable
items, checks may be made out to GRACE, Inc.
Turkey Bucks - Save your Turkey Bucks from VG's. Look for envelope in Fellowship Hall.
Ladies, *Mark your Calendar* - Ladies Night Out! presented by the Dibbleville merchants will be held on Friday, Nov. 14th from 5-8p.m. First Presbyterian Church will be partici-pating this year by opening the doors from 5-7:30p.m. to serve soup, sandwiches and famous apple dumplings.
Healthy Eating, Healthy Lives (HEHL) - will meet this fall on
the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month from 7-8pm. New
Focus: Stronger bodies, stronger lives. We will also
continue discussing food choices to keep us healthier. Please
